These terms govern your use of this website. If you become a client of Ascend Wise Marketing, your actual project is governed by a separate signed service agreement, not by these terms.
Use of this site
This website is provided to give you information about Ascend Wise Marketing's services. You may browse it freely. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse the design, code, or written content of this site for your own commercial purposes without permission.
No guarantee of results
Nothing on this site is a guarantee of specific business outcomes, search engine rankings, or results from any website we build. Descriptions of our process and pricing are accurate as of the date shown but may change.
Portfolio and case studies
Projects shown on this site are either real client work, shown with permission, or concept work clearly labeled as such. Concept projects are not commissioned client work and are shown solely to demonstrate design capability.
Website Build Cancellation and Refund Policy
The $500 website build fee reserves production time and covers discovery, research, design, copy preparation, development, and project setup.
Cancellations requested before work begins may be eligible for a refund, less any nonrecoverable payment-processing costs.
Once research, design, development, copywriting, or project setup has begun, the website build fee is non-refundable, because services and reserved production time have already been provided.
If Ascend Wise Marketing is unable to complete the agreed project, the client will receive a refund for any clearly unearned portion of the build fee.
Client delays, failure to provide required content or approvals, a change of direction after approval, or abandonment of the project do not create a right to a refund. Projects inactive for more than 30 days may be paused and require rescheduling.
Concerns about delivered work must be submitted in writing so Ascend Wise Marketing has a reasonable opportunity to correct work that does not conform to the agreed scope.
Cancellation policy
The $150 per month Website Care Plan begins with a 12-month initial term. Early cancellation during this term is not available except in cases of business closure or other extraordinary circumstances, which we handle case by case. The monthly hosting and maintenance fee is non-refundable once that month's service period begins. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund previously completed service periods. Contact hello@ascendwisemarketing.com to discuss your situation. After the initial 12-month term, you may cancel anytime with 30 days' written notice.
Fulfillment timeline
Standard websites launch within approximately 10 to 15 business days after we receive all required content, assets, and approvals from you. This countdown begins once everything we need has been received, not at the time of purchase. Delays in providing content, photos, or approvals will extend the timeline accordingly.

This site links to third-party services, including Google Forms and Stripe. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those third-party services once you leave this site.
Limitation of liability
This website and its content are provided as is. Ascend Wise Marketing is not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. The most current version will always be posted here.
